Ambiance is an elegantly appointed Victorian home located on a quiet residential street downtown Ottawa, Ontario. Built in 1904 this Bed and Breakfast has been renovated and upgraded to include life's modern conveniences, all while maintaining it's original charm.

Park your car here and walk everywhere, as our B&B is only minutes away from most major tourist attractions and business centre activities. We are also conveniently located to all major public transit routes.

Parliament Hill, Library and Archives Canada, The National Arts Centre, National Museums and Galleries, The Ottawa Conference Centre, Foreign Embassies, and the Ottawa Congress Centre, are all within walking distance.

Ottawa’s UNESCO World Heritage site the Rideau Canal and our famous Byward Market along with numerous festival locations are also just steps away. Our downtown location is also centrally located to Ottawa's numerous cycling paths, extraordinary trails and the famous Gatineau Park for those interested in outdoor activities.

Excellent local restaurants, cafés, pubs, nightclubs and shopping areas will assist in making your stay a pleasant experience.

At Ambiance B&B, a private guest entrance leads you to our beautifully decorated, secure bed rooms. On-site parking, a full hot breakfast, DSL or wireless Internet and free local calls are all included in our room rates.

Our delicious breakfasts are served at your preferred time in our dining room. Our unique 'Ambiance' in house blend of brewed coffee, homemade breads, baked goods, and main dishes are all prepared on site using the best quality ingredients.

For your comfort and convenience, we also provide central air conditioning, bathrobes, slippers, umbrellas, alarm clocks and  hair dryers, as well as an iron and ironing board.  A complimentary beverage bar, small refrigerator and a microwave are also accessible to make your stay more pleasurable.  A  fax machine and some other services are also available for those guests who may need to keep in touch with work while away on business.  

The private guest lounge is equipped with a Television, DVD player with DVD'S and a stereo as well as a selection of various books.  All of this is to provide our guests with a comfortable area to mingle, read or just relax.
